The Rector writes…”As I have almost reached my 6th Month Anniversary here in Carrigaline (tomorrow 11th June), I have been re-reading the wonderful Parish Renewal Initiative which was prepared by many of you in the Parish before I arrived. I’m sure you will remember that there were 10 key headings: Welcome, Worship, Fellowship, Leadership, Finances, Fundraising, Communication, Outreach, Youth, Seniors and Buildings. I do feel that we are moving along on all of these identified areas and I look forward to meeting with the Renewal Team after the summer to re-examine what was suggested, to see what has already been accomplished and to prioritise what still needs to be done. I will keep you all updated on what is happening in this area. Paraphrasing what a certain political party used to say ‘A lot done, a lot more to do’ but I feel that we are definitely getting there!
