Pew Sheet – 12th September 2021

The Rector writes ’Thank you all for your support for Richard last week. He really appreciated it. It’s so great for the parish to have a deacon now and you’ll be seeing lots of him over the next year although please do bear in mind that the newly Revd Richard has a ’real’ job as well so we can’t be leaning on him too much!

On another matter, but still related to ministry in the parish, I intend holding a Workshop on how to write and deliver the Intercessions. We already have a fabulous team (Helen, Clodagh, Peter, Hilary, Joy, Kevin, TWO Rowlands , Simon, Kay & Valerie) but if this is something you might like to do, please let me know. The Workshop will be held on Saturday morning 20th November so still plenty of time to think about it.

Now on a completely different subject, our parish Netflix Club will meet by Zoom again on the last Friday of the month (24th) to discuss the 2020 Movie ‘Penguin Bloom’

So you still have two whole weeks to watch this beautiful film on Netflix and I will send the Zoom invite on the weekly pewsheet email next week. ‘
