MONKSTOWN HOME GROUP
We meet usually from September to early May each year and agree in advance what our theme should be. The sessions are friendly and open to inclusion of a wide variety of points of view and we are welcoming to newcomers.
The home group has been meeting regularly since 2001 and now numbers are regularly ten people from Methodist and Anglican traditions from both Carrigaline and Monkstown congregations. We meet fortnightly in each others’ houses to discuss the bible usually following a study around a particular book or theme with a view to application of insights shared to our Christian journey individually and corporately.
Our members are active in children’s work, youth outreach, home and hospital visiting, intercession, healing, Vestry/church administration and a variety of other helping ministries and hail from all walks of life and parts of the country.
We meet usually on Wednesday evening s from 8.00- 10.00 pm from September to early May each year and agree in advance what our theme should be. The sessions are friendly and open to inclusion of a wide variety of points of view and we are welcoming to newcomers. Once or twice a year we have a social evening in which we share in the provision of food and beverages – this is a great opportunity to come along to meet us in a most informal setting.

SAPLINGS HOME GROUP
We meet in each other’s houses around the Carrigaline area, usually from September to early May every second Wednesday from 8pm. We normally have a different speaker to come and talk about some aspect of their lives. Our members then have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss the theme of the evening. It is all very informal and all are welcome to come along.
