Every Great Cork Simon Supper will help raise funds to ensure that those who use their services are provided with the nourishing meals that they need. Their services are pushed to their absolute capacity at the moment. In 2018 11,905 nutritious meals were served at Cork Simon’s nightly Soup Run.
It is very easy to get involved. Simply pick a date, gather your friends and colleagues, grab some food, and make a difference. By hosting a meal, you will be continuing to help the fight against homelessness. Cork Simon would be incredibly grateful to have your support and will provide you with everything you need to organise the perfect Supper.

The Kitchen’s Closed today
On a certain Sunday morn,
looking forward to a cuppa,
we drifted towards the Parish Hall
but, alas, our plans were scuppered.
A pall of gloom spread over all
on hearing someone say,
“tea and coffee won’t be served
the kitchen’s closed today.”
With dragging feet, we turned away
and to the gate did roam.
No reason now to linger here,
we might as well go home.
Two absent people caused this woe,
the rota had gone astray,
“tea and coffee won’t be served,
the kitchen’s closed today.”
“The Pub With No Beer” was a desolate scene,
described in a well-known verse,
but let me tell you, here and now
of a sight which is far, far, worse.
A congregation, deprived of its caffeine,
wending dolefully homeward away,
“tea and coffee won’t be served,
the kitchen’s closed today.”
