The Rector writes- ‘ Tomorrow is the feast of the Epiphany. Knowing that the children will already be back in school tomorrow, the Bishop has made a request of all his clergy that they conduct their Epiphany Services in a way that will involve their parish school, whether in the church or in the actual school. As all of the 220(ish) children of St Mary’s School don’t physically fit into St Mary’s Church and even if they did, the weather at this time of year isn’t conducive to children walking to church, I have decided to conduct our Church Service in the School. This service will be at 10.30am tomorrow morning and you are welcome to join with the children in the Canon McCrea Hall for worship. I know that they would love to see as many of you there as possible so please do think about coming along if you are free. They had been practising ‘We three Kings’ especially for this and I look forward to seeing some of you then.’
TEA and COFFEE will be available after the 11am Service in the Parish Hall.
